Support Our Nabe’s Stores
We are not alone!
Tenants at Independence Plaza North, facing potential evictions in the
near future if our landlords exit from the Mitchell-Lama program —
they’ve stated publicly that that is precisely what they will do
— are not alone.
Local stores and other small business people have supported IPN’s
tenants’ right to remain in their homes. And the support they’ve
given has been concrete, for example, they signed their own names on hundreds
of postcards to city and state officials and others in defense of our
right to stay here.
We owe them. And the best way to show our appreciation is to patronize
their establishments. Here are a few of them:
